I am David Starkopf, I am a Photographer in Los Angeles. I work freelance as well as the staff photographer for Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa.

Describe the concept, product, or service this site is intended to provide or promote.

As a freelance photographer I need to present a digital portfolio that looks professional as well as conveys my style of work. The product I intend to promote is my photography. My photographs must be presented in a way that enhances them visually to inspire confidence in my future clients. The website must provide an easy way for Clients to contact me, as well as an easy and elegant way for them to view my work.

What primary business problem are you trying to solve with a site redesign? (If this is a new site, what is its primary purpose?)

Currently my site consists of only a random unorganized assortment my images. There is no information about who I am or how to contact me. I need a more organized site where people can search through the images in a more orderly fashion and get a better sense of who I am and how I work. Also my current website looks amateur, I need something that comes across to the viewer as more serious and professional.

"Primary- To share my portfolio with prospective clients. I would also like it to be used to upload photos of events into a password protected section in so they can be viewed by the clients securely after the shoot has taken place. Secondary- So my photographs can be viewed by my friends and family "

What primary action should a primary user take when visiting your site? .

Viewing my portfolio. Looking at images of an event that has recently taken place and downloading those images they have hired me to take. Contacting me to shoot an event.

all my photography is managed in Adobe Lightroom which also generates my current website.
